Branding & Packaging Design
A selection of branding and packaging designs I have created as part of my job as a senior designer for a leading craft company.
Sara Signature caring thoughts Collection
A collection of papercraft products with a theme centred around sending well wishes and caring thoughts to loved ones. This is one of the most recent projects I have worked on as project lead. It was my job to design all of the product, as well as the branding and packaging ready for production. The product I designed included paper pads, metal dies, acrylic stamps and cut & emboss folders. As with other projects, I also had to source imagery to help create the designs, as well as source additional items from external suppliers, and oversee the project from initial design stage, through to mass production.
Nature’s gardeN chinoiserie collection
Chinoiserie is a decorative style in Western art, furniture, and architecture, characterised by the use of Chinese motifs and techniques. As project lead, I designed the products, branding and packaging, and also liaised with external suppliers right through to mass production stage . Part of the design work, was to source suitable imagery that we could purchase licenses for, and use throughout the range. This was particularly crucial for the paper pads, which were the main selling point for the range.
Nature’s gardeN woodland friends collection
This range of papercraft products was designed with a cute, woodland theme in mind. Containing a natural colour palette, cute woodland animals and natural textures. I was project lead and managed everything from designing the products, branding and packaging, right through to mass production. Part of the design work, was to source suitable imagery that we could purchase licenses for, and use throughout the range.
Sara Signature garden of love Collection
A collection of papercraft products with a floral wedding theme. This was one of the first larger projects where I was assigned as project lead. I was tasked with solely designing all of the product, as well as the branding and packaging. The product I designed included paper pads, metal dies, acrylic stamps and embossing folders. I also had to source additional items from external suppliers, such as ribbons, cardstock and more. I oversaw the project from initial design and sourcing, through to mass production stage.
Sara Signature Nautical Collection
A collection of papercraft products all designed with a nautical theme. I helped to design the paper pad, embossing folders and stamps for this collection, and also created the branding and packaging design. Part of the job was to also liaise with overseas suppliers, in order to ensure they could meet our requirements and ensure a smooth production process.
CD and DVD packaging
A selection of packaging I created for CD-ROMS and DVDs, as part of a number of Papercraft collections. I also helped to created the 3D rendered images, which would be used as sales aids on the website and TV.
